Today was a bad day dieting

well lets see my day started off good got up around 7:30 am this morning started cleaning house after that did some laundry while i was on computer,then hubby left for a few hours and for some reason i just started eating stuff not knowing  why its really hard being home alone cause if i get bored or depressed i eat can someone give me advice i need some help thanks Please leave the help full tips in my ask?
